780 inches at Snowbird and Snowbasin Re-opens

It’s early June, and Snowbird will likely go over 800 total inches of the “Greatest Snow on Earth” before they close on July 4th.  Snowbasin has re-opend for weekend skiing through July 4th, or as long as their snow lasts.  Late spring and summer is the traditional time of the year when those who have been to Utah resorts during the ski season come back to look for property, and thanks to the crazy snowfall records this year, they will have a couple of interesting options.  They can ski in the morning at two major resorts, and look at homes or land the same afternoon.  Starting in late June, they can finish the day off with an outdoor concert at Wolf Mountain or Deer Valley or a number of other venues.
With the Utah ski resort real estate market still an incredible opportunity for buyers and the resorts open for skiing and riding, the best guess is that numbers will be up in terms of late spring and early summer buyers.
Even without the record snowfall and summer ski season, the incredible variety of summertime recreational opportunities, events and activities at and around Utah’s resorts makes a visit to look at property a truly memorable trip.
Summertime Fun to Combine With a Property Tour

The Third Annual Powder Mountain Hill Climb will be held June 11th. The bicycle race starts at Wolf Creek Resort and climbs 3,300 vertical feet in six miles. Visit Team Excelerator for more info.
